In a world where art and the painting culture is gradually dying out, we need better means to give value to paintings because it also carries parts of our greatest cultural and historical Values.
This project “Astral Night” is designed to place more emphasis on painting, by inviting
different painters in the country the opportunity to expose and break down
their art and the philosophy of the lifestyle that is behind their art. Also to help viewers
better understand the art. Research has proven that people in Africa don’ really have the painting culture, and because of this they lack a good understanding or appreciation for art, they also don’t consciously support artists, because they dont seem to understand what they do. Culture and
awareness throught Arts, need to be taught and Astral night can play a very great role in the nurturing of this consciousness throught art.
